Panama Style Grilled Shrimp and Marinade Recipe
Juicy shrimp with a simple marinade, grilled to perfection and drizzled with garlic butter for serving.
Ingredients
1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined, or medium shrimp
For the Marinade:
1/3 cup olive oil
4 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or ¾ teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Garlic Butter:
1 clove garlic minced
1/4 cup salted butter melted
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
Lemon wedges for garnish

Prepare garlic butter:
In a small bowl, combine butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Set aside.
Marinate the shrimp:
In a glass bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, parsley, tomato paste, basil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Marinate for 20 minutes up to 1 hour.
Preheat the grill:
Heat your grill to medium (about 375°F).
Grill the shrimp:
Thread shrimp onto skewers. Grill 2–3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are opaque and just cooked through. Remove from skewers and transfer to a serving bowl.
Finish and serve:
Drizzle garlic butter and your favorite flavor of Mo’s Heat over the shrimp, then serve immediately with lemon wedges.
